Country-pop and actor song writer Jana Kramer rose to fame in the world of television when she joined the crew on One Tree Hill as Alex for its final three seasons. She was featured in several episodes as a new country music artist. This helped her debut album reach the Billboard 200 Top 20. Thirty One, her follow-up album, released in 2015, climbed in the Top Ten. In the last decade, she appeared on Dancing with the Stars as also in television movies as well as various TV programs. She also released some singles which weren't albums. In 2021, the self-doubting Voices was released. Jana Rae Kramer was born and was raised within Rochester Hills Michigan. She spent her childhood listening to country music, and later went on to make a go of it as a recording artist. However, she made her acting debut as a teenager in 2002's indie horror film Dead/Undead. After a few guest appearances in All My Children or CSI: NY, Kramer landed Noelle Davenport's role as a regular in NBC Friday Night Lights in the second season of 2007-2008. Kramer was next seen on 90210 for the character of Portia Randson in 2008 through 2009 and also as Brooke Manning for Entourage 2009. She then joined One Tree Hill's ensemble in the role of Alex Dupre. Kramer remained in the character until about midway through the last season of One Tree Hill. Jana Kramer During her run on the show Kramer has signed a record deal to Elektra Records and debuted the modern country song I Won't Give up on a 2011 episode on One Tree Hill. The track debuted in mid-2012 and was included in her first full-length album Jana Kramer. The track was a part of the Top Five on the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart. Then she focused her acting career on performing in movies including Heart of the Country 2013 as well as Country Crush 2016, which appealed directly to her fans. The album was released in October 2015. Kramer dropped her debut album thirty One with Warner Music Nashville. With help from The Top Five country hit I Got the Boy and an duet together with Steven Tyler of Aerosmith it fared even better reaching number three on country's albums chart as well as number ten on the Billboard 200. In September 2016, her two-month stay on the 23rd season of Dancing with the Stars ended with her finishing fourth. That same year she made a splash with an adult contemporary hit song called Straight No Chaser's Feels Like Christmas.
